Internationale groepsreis Lhasa to Kathmandu Ride

Challenge yourself on the ultimate cycle ride from Nepal to Tibet

Food

  • A number of local restaurants and guesthouses en route can provide meals, but as previous clients have found the food to lack variety and nutritional value, we offer the services of a local Tibetan chef on this trip. The chef will provide hygienically prepared, healthy and energy-rich locally sourced food for the group at lunch time and dinner during the Tibet section of the trip. This service is entirely optional and will be paid locally in US dollars - the cost of this service, which will also include drinking water throughout the trip, is dependent on the actual group size on your trip departure: 4 clients = US$550 per person (approx. 345) 5-7 clients = US$500 per person (approx. 315) 8-11 clients = US$450 per person (approx. 285) 12-16 clients = US$400 per person (approx. 251) Please let us know in advance if you intend taking this meal option. Breakfast is included throughout the Tibetan & Nepali sections of this trip. During the Nepal section of the trip, there is a much greater choice of food available at restaurants and guesthouses, so meals are not included here to allow clients greater flexibility of choice. We would recommend that you bring a small supply of your favourite energy snacks, and also electrolyte drink if you use it, on the trip with you. You can buy muesli type cereal bars in both Kathmandu and the larger supermarkets in Lhasa but the quality and range of flavours isnt as good as in the west.
