Route 8 daagse Fietsvakantie Cycling in the Dolomites

Savour the dramatic mountain scenery of the Dolomites, while avoiding the need to ride up any long climbs. We explore the beautiful valleys of the Alta Pusteria on two wheels, visiting Brunico, Lake Toblach, Cortina d’Ampezzo and crossing into the Austrian Tyrol to explore mediaeval Lienz.   1. Dag 1 - Start Dobbiaco.
  2. Dag 2 - Ride along the Rienz River to Brunico; visit outdoor folklore museum then transfer back to Dobbiaco.
  3. Dag 3 - Transfer to the Sexten Valley; cycle back to Dobbiaco along quiet cycle paths via San Candido and the 8th century Innichen Abbey.
  4. Dag 4 - Follow the Drau cycle path across the Austrian border to Lienz; transfer to Dobbiaco.
  5. Dag 5 - Free day to relax, enjoy a walk or visit Bolzano, capital of the South Tyrol.
  6. Dag 6 - Transfer to Cortina d’Ampezzo; cycle past the famous peaks of Tre Cima di Lavaredo en route to Dobbiaco.
