Lunch on trek is usually served as a picnic en route, with soup to start, local bread, fruit where available, cheese, eggs and tinned fish. There will be afternoon tea and biscuits on arrival at camp followed by dinner later, which is usually soup to start, a pasta, rice or potato based main course with fresh vegetables, followed by dessert, tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Boiled water, which is safe to drink, is provided on trek.
