Route 17 daagse rondreis Shangri La Trek

Also called the Guerrilla Trek, this exciting new route into the western mountains of Nepal was the heartland of the revolution of 2006. The Maoist trails, that made the recent history of the country, today make a new and fascinating trek, exploring a remote part of Nepal, where people are still largely unaffected by commercialisation. Walking through historic sites, surrounded by terraced hills and ancient villages, we enjoy fantastic panoramic views of snowy peaks, whilst camping each night in the peaceful beauty of the Himalayas. This unique trek transports you far from modern life, in search of Shangri La in the majestic Nepalese mountains.
