Route 8 daagse rondreis Tartu Ski Marathon

Each year up to 5000 skiers from around the world descend on the small village of Otepää outside Tartu, in the south eastern corner Estonia. The 63km course from the village to Elva follows the main road, a constant course of gentle rolling hills with no major steep uphill/ downhill or long straight sections, making skiing here a real pleasure for anyone with a good level of fitness. The holiday will be led by Andy Mckee and offers an excellent challenge in a more unusual destination, for those wishing to take their cross-country skiing to the next level. At the beginning of the week we will also have some time to explore the pretty capital of Estonia, Tallinn. It's fairy-tale; 14th century walled old town is a maze of medieval and modern. Full of old churches, cobbled street, cosy cafes and shops selling lovely hand crafted souvenirs.
