- All breakfasts and 7 dinners included. During pre-race weeks, the restaurant at the hotels tries to serve healthy meals to help prepare for the race. This includes a variety of dishes drawing on French traditions and of course some needed "carbo-loading".

Start Bois d'Amont.
The trip begins at Hotel Club Le Risoux in Bois d'Amont, our base for the week.
The first of 4 days of cross-country skiing and tuition on and around the race course.
We prefer not to specify in advance where we will ski each day. This is to enhance the flexibility and adapt to weather and snow conditions and to some extent the ability of the group. When choosing routes, the leader's priority will be to ensure that participants become better and more confident skiers as the week progresses, whilst covering as much of the race route as possible. From Bois d'Amont we have access to a great number of loipe, including a few loops that are a great warm up on the first day. Possible other routes will include heading to Les Rousses (start of the race), completing the climb to le Risoux, skiing the forest track from les Combettes to les Rousses, heading to Belfontaine and back. We will aim to cover as much of the race course as possible, but as it is a linear course ending fairly far from Bois d'Amont, it is likely that we will not have done the whole of the course before race day. However the most important sections will be covered and your leader will give you all the information needed.
