I am Gabriela known as Gaby to the people around me. I have been a tourist guide since the age of 16. I started as a student tourist site guide and after 11 years of being a site guide I wanted more.   The love for my country, people, adventure and exploring guided me into becoming a tour leader. At first I felt overwhelmed by all the information I had to study and what it means to be a tour leader, but after the first 3 tours and a lot of crying it finally felt like I was getting the hang of it.   Six years later and I still get excited to see my itinerary and meeting new people. Seeing how guests come as individuals, but leave as one is what warms my heart and kind of reminds me of South Africans.   We are a multicultural country and we proudly celebrate our differences, but traveling made me realise that deep down we all want the same things.I
