Hello y’all!

My name is Helena, born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia but (luckily) not bound to the place! Lived in West Virginia, worked in France, but always sure to come back home to kiss my mom on the forehead. 

I’m a fellow tour guide doing my best to show hidden gems scattered around the Balkan region. For me, it is of utmost importance to reveal the beauties of my country and neighboring ones, be them natural or cultural. Cuisine, music, mythology, architecture, films, wine, history- I try my best to sniff out the things that fascinate my clients at the time and incorporate it to the program; with that every tour is an authentic experience for everybody, myself included. This is why I love my job so dearly and why I am so appreciative to work with different people of different backgrounds. Working as a tour guide gives you an opportunity to grow, to study and to appreciate the vast historical, ethnological, natural, cultural charms that a country has to offer. 

This is my second year in this field, and hopefully, there are many to come- there are so many things to learn!
