My name is Priscilla but you can call me Pris or Prisci as my dad likes to call me. I grew up in a town close to San Jose, and thats why one has spent all my youth age walking from up to down in the city, loving every detail found there, museums, cafeterias or central market. My family originally belongs from a very small villag,up in the mountains called poro de puriscal and that was my first touch to the nature,also my aunt had a property in guapiles(close to the caribbean side) where she and her husband taught everything about enjoying the jungle,with a not sharp liltte machete. They showed me how to be careful and survive there even in a trail full of all kinds of animals,bugs and plants at that moment one did not know anything about it and was a bit scary.I learned to live with freedom,trying,seeing,searching,smelling all the jungle has to offer. I got my guide licence in 2010, at some point I was sent back to the Caribbean side to spend almost 5 years in Tortuguero, and in 2018 I came back to San Jose. For me, the best way to show this full box of full nature that is Costa Rica is to lead groups, sharing a little of my experience that time gave me, watching the travellers back home love life in a way that only Costa Rica can give after trying, doing and eating all that we have here. Even doing the same activity had something new in every trip,a different colour sunset,a new sunrice,a different bird or show given for monkeys,every time is different,and thats why I love leading trips,I will never get tired of it.
