Rihas

I’m Rihas (35y) currently live in sri Lanka and Working as a National tour guide.   After working for hotels and restaurants overseas for many years, decided to join tourism industry in 2016 as tour guide. As an individual who has a passion in customer services, I do believe that I’m  in the right job role. I was able to gain a huge level of experience and knowledge related to my job role in past few years by working for reputed travel companies from different countries. I do really enjoy my self and love what I do for many reasons. As a tour leader/ guide we are the closest contact with the people who visit us to enjoy a holiday and have to play different roles according to the situations (teacher/doctor/friend/care taker /guide/leader) We understand that not everyone of them are traveling just for fun,  there are people who looking for a change to start a new chapter of their lives to forget about negative/dark past chapters of their life stories. We do believe as  tour guides that we have the opportunity and possibility to make a positive impact on people’s lives. making their holidays even better by making positive vibes and memories and send them home with a positive mind set. I hear a lot from travelers about this at the end of my tours which is a great experience and inner peace for my self too which makes me keep going.   I am proud to be a part of this blessed nation and blessed to be a sri lankan. This nation is  home for many ethnicities, cultures, ritual, customs and traditions and we do respect each other and live in harmony. On the other side sri Lanka has amazing Nature and wild lives to explore. Basically this island  is a best combo of so many things to offer to anyone come from different  part of the world.
